Sumter's House of Classic Movies
Sumter Civic Theater & the Sumter County Library present Sumter’s House of Classic Movies. This series will be presented on the 2nd Friday of each month. Sumter Civic Theater in partnership with the Sumter County Library is bringing back the Classics to the true die hard movie buffs. The Sumter Opera House is truly the best place to enjoy classic movies presented the way is was in the 30’s and 40’s, it’s cultural history as Sumter’s first movie theater will bring fond memories of the good old days. Each feature film will be provided by the Sumter County Library. The cost is only $2.50 (two dollars and fifty cents) per person and all proceeds will go the Sumter County Library Children’s Programs. Seating is limited so come early. Doors open at 7pm and the show begins promptly at 7:30pm.
