On Wednesday Nov 12, the Orangeburg County Development Commission will host the 2008 Economic Development Summit where Jafza International is scheduled to unveil its "Master Plan" and model for Santee. The Summit will create an understanding of the opportunities and the impact Jafza will have on Orangeburg County as well as the entire state of South Carolina.

The registration for this event is SOLD OUT.

HOWEVER, You can still hear portions on the radio!

Radio Station STAR 105.1 FM will be broadcasting LIVE from the Summit from 7am-9am on Wednesday morning with coverage and interviews with Summit presenters.

There will also be a broadcast at 8am on Thursday morning (Nov 13) with a discussion about the Forum with faculty members from Claflin University's School of Business.

The Santee411 Staff will be attending the conference - we will do our best to provide you with highlights of the event later this week.

We'll also be posting articles from the T&D and any other newspaper or TV coverage.
